Hello!
Hi, I’m Ellie (also known as Eri, my Japanese name), the designer behind Bluefin Works.
I started my journey in marine biology, working and interning at aquariums around the world. Along the way, I discovered a love for exhibit and spatial design, which led me to take on side design projects and eventually shift into graphic design full time.
In 2012, as we were planning our wedding, we struggled to find unique details that reflected who we are, which was our shared love for music (both drummers), I decided to launch Bluefin Works to offer thoughtful, personalized event stationery. Today, I bring together my passions for storytelling, design, and celebration to help others create meaningful moments through one-of-a-kind decor.
Fun fact: I named Bluefin Works after my favorite fish to honor my roots—and my hope to one day give back to the field that first inspired me.
