Free Printable Mini Witch Hats
The printable comes with two sheets:
- One all-black sheet (classic witchy vibes)
- One colorful sheet with four Halloween shades—black, orange, purple, and green
Each printable makes 8 mini hats, so you’ll have plenty for decorating!
What You’ll Need
- Printable witch hat template (download below)
- Cardstock or regular printer paper (cardstock works best for sturdier hats)
- Scissors
- Glue stick or clear tape
How to Make Them
- Print the template on your chosen paper
- Cut out the outer edges of each hat cone and circular base, the dotted slits.
- Roll the cone shape and secure the tab with glue or tape
- Attach the cone to the base by sliding the cone in through the hole, and gluing the slits on underneath the hat rim.
- Let dry for a minute, and you’re done!
How to Use Your Mini Witch Hats
These little hats look amazing on:
- Cupcakes or party favors
- Mini pumpkins or mason jars
- Pencil toppers for school
- Toys or figurines that need a Halloween costume upgrade
- Bottle toppers for Halloween drinks
Bonus Craft: Easy Ghost Lollipops 👻

If you like how simple and cute these witch hats are and you want to share them with others, why not make little ghost lollipops to pass out? They take about 5 minutes each and require supplies you probably already have!
What You’ll Need
- Lollipops (any kind works—I used these new apple starburst lollipops- YUM!)
- White Table napkins
- Black felt tip pen or marker
- Ribbon, yarn, twine, or twist ties
- Optional: Mini witch hats to top them off!
How to Make Them
- Fold the napkin into eighths (in half three times) like below, and cut the bottom into a wave. This will soften the bottom of the ghost, and also separate the plies from each other.
- Take 2 of the 4 ply, and wrap the napkin around the candy, gathering it at the stick
- Tie it off with ribbon or a twist tie to create the ghost body (I used a piece of white yarn)
- Draw a cute ghost face with your black marker—two dots for eyes and a little “o” mouth
- Add a mini witch hat on top to transform your ghost into a witch!
