Kids- Barber Shop Cut & Print activity (free printable)

Events are being cancelled because of the pandemic, so suddenly my online shop targeting large parties is not so busy. Orders are low, and with the uncertainty in the world, I have been going through a bit of anxiety. I’d normally welcome extra time and get busy working on things I’ve been wanting to do, but not knowing how long this will last, and seeing the world shutting down, I have been having this constant feeling of “what should I be doing right now” “how can I contribute to the world that desperately needs help”.
In the meanwhile, my super creative daughter (who is now home everyday) asks me every single day what projects we’re doing for the day. She’s definitely an indoor kid. She just wants to do projects all day and everyday. So I’ve been looking up projects for her to do after they have gone to bed every night.
So it occurred to me, with the little bit of extra time I have now, why not make some original craft projects? If I made some projects and shared them with parents like me, it would be rewarding for me and fun for my kids! If others can benefit from it, it’s a win-win-win. ????
More time + bored kids = free printables!
So I made a cut and paste activity this week. My five and two year old had a blast! It’s a creative but simple activity with lots of room for making it your own, so I think a wide age range of children can enjoy it. In fact, I enjoyed doing it with the kids too!
If you try it, I’d love to see what your child came up with- feel free to comment or email me, or tag me on social media @bluefinworks !
Also, since this is the first one I made, I would greatly appreciate feedback, recommendation, or even request:)
Enjoy!
