DIY Modern Geometric Father’s Day Cards
I don’t know about you, but we’ve been enjoying the warmer, but not unbearable weather here in Eastern Washington.
The splash parks are on now for the kids to enjoy, and fruit picking has begun, and I just love this time of year.
With graduation, summer break, and all the fun things to do outside, it’s undoubtedly a busy time of year for many of us, but don’t forget that Father’s Day is right around the corner!
Today I’m going to share with you what we made for Father’s Day, and you can easily make it too!

Tools
- Scissors
- Glue
- 2 varieties of Card stock of your choice- 1 sheet each ( I used the geometric card stock I found sold in singles at Michael’s and a grunge-ish gray card stock also found at Michael’s. You can mix and match to your liking and create a one of a kind design too!)
- Printer (black and white printer would work just fine for this project)
- Printable template
Steps
- Print out the template on to your patterned card stock
- Cut out the shapes
- Cut the other card stock in a size of 10″ x 7″, score it in the middle and fold it in half to make the base of the card. I like to use a paper trimmer and a scoring board to do this. It makes for clean cut and clean scoring. You can make it easier if you have a blank card you can use.
- Paste the pieces on with glue, and that’s it! You can play around with the pieces or use different color / pattern combinations and make it your own!
