Under Construction Birthday Party Decor

On Sunday, we had a small backyard birthday party for our son who is now 3 years old! With the pandemic, we were only going to have immediate family there so I wasn’t going to decorate, but the Mom & party decor designer in me couldn’t resist doing just a little bit.

And I’m So glad I did!

With everything getting cancelled, this year has been full of disappointments, and I realized I want his birthday to still be special even if it’s small.

At three, he’s going to understand that it’s his day, and he’s going to be so happy to be celebrated. So a few days before his birthday, I got busy and started to try to make his birthday special for him, and it was definitely the right call…

You should have seen his face when he saw the birthday cake! He was so happy!

It’s so important to still celebrate the important things in life to the best of your ability, even if the world is still “under construction” ( see what I did there?)
